Goldie’s Chariot (GC) and (TICW) The International Community Warehouse (501 C-3) partner to bring awareness to our community about Mental Health and to help prevent DWI and DUI also human trafficking kidnapping. By providing an individuals a ride from bar to home or home to the bar within the district. Be working with the Bars and local PD. When a person is too intoxicated to give us there address when they ask us for a ride home are they appear to not be in there right from mine. We ask local PD for help. We are following all CDC guidelines.

Some Facts on DWI and DUI

32 people in the United States are killed every day in crashes involving an alcohol-impaired driver—this is one death every 45 minutes.

The annual estimated cost of crash deaths involving alcohol-impaired drivers totaled about $123.3 billion* in 2020. These costs include medical costs and cost estimates for lives lost.

What everyone can do:

Don’t let your friends drive while impaired by alcohol and/or drugs.

Don’t ride with an impaired driver.

If you’re hosting a party where alcohol or drugs will be available, remind your guests to plan ahead. Arrange for alternative transportation or agree on a trusted designated driver who will not drink alcohol or use drugs. Offer alcohol-free beverages, and make sure all guests leave with a driver who has not been drinking alcohol and/or using drugs.

Some Facts on Buckling Up
Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death among those aged 1-54 in the U.S.1 Most crash-related deaths in the United States occur to drivers and passengers.
​
For adults and older children (who are big enough for seat belts to fit properly), seat belt use is one of the most effective ways to save lives and reduce injuries in crashes.3 Yet millions do not buckle up on every trip.

Deaths:

A total of 22,697 drivers and passengers in passenger vehicles died in motor vehicle crashes in 2018.

More than half (range: 51%-60%) of teens (13-19 years) and adults aged 20-44 years who died in crashes in 2018 were not buckled up at the time of the crash.

Injuries:

More than 2.2 million drivers and passengers were treated in emergency department as the result of being injured in motor vehicle crashes in 2018.

Young adult drivers and passengers (18-24) have the highest crash-related non-fatal injury rates of all adults.

This allows Goldie Chariot to provide light and sound stimulation. Providing those in need rides around Center City and more.
